Statement of Faith

GOD

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ

There is one true, living God existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. God is creator of all things, infinite in love, perfect in holiness.

(Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ--fully God and fully man--born of virgin. Jesus lived a sinless life and died sacrificially on the cross for humanity's redemption. Jesus was physically resurrected and ascended to Heaven and will return again to judge the living and the dead.

(John 1:14, Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

HOLY SPIRIT

Jesus Christ

HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is a divine person who convicts, regenerates, indwells, and empowers believers. The Holy Spirit provides spiritual gifts for building God's Kingdom and guides believers into all truth.

(John 16:13, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11)

SCRIPTURE

CHRISTIAN LIVING

HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Bible is God's inspired, infallible Word. It is authoritative for both faith and practice and complete and sufficient for guidance.

2 Timohty 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21)

SALVATION

CHRISTIAN LIVING

CHRISTIAN LIVING

Salvation is obtained only through grace by faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation involves repentance, forgiveness of sins, and spiritual rebirth. Salvation is a free gift of God, not earned by works.

(Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10)

CHRISTIAN LIVING

CHRISTIAN LIVING

CHRISTIAN LIVING

Believers are called to holy living and are committed to loving God and serving others while ever-growing in Christ-like character.

(1 Peter 1:15-16, Matthew 22:37-39)

THE CHURCH

Secondary Issues

Secondary Issues

The Church is the universal body of believers, called to worship, fellowship, discipleship, and evangelism.

(Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 2:42-27)

Secondary Issues

While united in core biblical beliefs, we recognize that faithful Christians may have varying perspectives on secondary theological matters. Therefore, we commit to maintaining love and respect despite secondary doctrinal differences. Secondary matters include, but are not limited to, specific End-Times interpretations, worship styles, baptism practices, spiritual gifts. Our core principle is: "In essentials, unity. In non-essentials, liberty. In all things, charity."
